Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Shayeb Studio Inc. collects when you visit our website or play our games, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: our website doesn't use cookies, has no accounts and doesn't track you for advertising. We only get personal information if you email us. Before we release a game, we'll update this policy to describe exactly what that game collects.

1. Who we are
Shayeb Studio Inc. ("Shayeb Studio", "we", "us") is a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada, with its registered office in Mississauga, Ontario. We develop and publish video games. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy covers our website, shayebstudio.com, and our games and apps (together, the "Services"), unless a game has its own privacy policy, in which case that policy applies to the game.
2. Information from our website
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write in your message.
Information collected automatically
Our website has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking cookies. When you visit, some technical information is processed automatically so the site can load and stay secure:
- Hosting and security. Our site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to serve the site and protect it from attacks.
- Fonts and site code. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and some site code is loaded from jsDelivr. Your browser connects to these services directly, so they receive your IP address and basic browser information.
- Email protection. Cloudflare may run a small script to hide our email address from spam bots.
Your browser may store small preferences on your device, such as cached files or the language you chose for our website. We don't use these to identify you.
3. Information from our games
Our first game is still in development. Before any game is released, we will update this section, and the game's store listing, to explain clearly what the game collects. Depending on the game, this may include:
- Game and device data, such as progress, settings, device model, operating system and language, so the game works and saves correctly.
- Crash and performance reports, so we can find and fix bugs.
- Purchase information, if a game offers in-app purchases. Payments are handled by the app store (for example, Apple or Google). We receive confirmation of what was bought, not your card details.
- Advertising identifiers, only if a game shows ads, and only as allowed by your device settings and the law.
We will ask for your consent where the law requires it, and you will be able to manage permissions in your device settings.
4. How we use information
- To run, maintain and secure our website and games
- To reply to your messages and provide support
- To fix bugs and improve our games
- To process purchases and prevent fraud
- To comply with legal obligations
We don't sell your personal information. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our Services, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our Services, such as hosting, email and, for games, app stores, crash reporting and analytics providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
6. Where it is stored
We are based in Canada, but our service providers may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. When that happens, the information may be subject to the laws of those countries. We choose providers that protect information appropriately.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. For example, we keep support emails for as long as needed to help you and to keep a reasonable record of our conversations, then delete them.
8. Children
Our website is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) without a parent's consent. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. If a future game is made for younger players, it will follow the rules that apply to children's apps.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Canada's privacy laws, the GDPR and US state privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we have about you and get a copy
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Withdraw consent you have given us
- Object to or limit certain uses of your information
To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to the data protection authority where you live.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited access. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, including when we release a game. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for important changes we'll give more notice, for example in the game.
